Wet chemistry analyser gives reliable measurement of rapid-changing parameters

Some physical parameters in water are rapidly changing yet dynamically influenced by others like pH, temperature etc. Ammonia and Chlorine are examples.

The photometric method is a recognized standard (ISO 11732/ DIN 38408) and is widely used in industrial processes. It is identically same as laboratory method yet the operation is fully automatic. The measurement interval is approximately 4 minutes with periodic self cleaning and calibration (for ammonia). The sizes are compact, wall mounted possible and the operating cost is low.

Monitoring the ammonium in wastewater treatment process is a direct method to reflect the process efficiency. When the ammonia has reached the minimum level, it means the N-Process has completed the aeration step. Blowers can be actuated to a lower throughput and money for electricity is saved. In other words, the de-nitrification process is started and the forming of nitrite/nitrate (NOx) is go live. Control strategy using ammonium and NOx saving a lots of money.
